My Poetry & Tales—a
path of discovery
I enjoy various kinds of poems,
but I have a strange way of writing them, as to me it’s more the rhythm and tone that dictates the poetry, not the letters
you see. For me there has to be a melody, and it’s not always so that I find it in rhyming. Short tales can be as poetic
as any poem, and I’m pretty sure that it’s the feeling when reading that counts. That feeling takes you farther,
beyond techniques and rules about lining up words printed on paper. That feeling is yours; you interpret the sound and that
final touch of recognition. Somewhere along that path of discovery, you and I will meet.

Life is strange: there are so many questions—two of
the very basic ones being about how life once started and about gender. What’s confusing are not the questions themselves—it’s
all their varied answers. But life may not have emerged out of chaos, and gender was there from the beginning, without any
questions ever being asked. If we do ask, the only answer ever needed is:
We all are
Children of the Universe.

Happiness—this is an internal feeling we know very
little about. Happy, who me? How do I know who “me” even is? If we’re not born happy, how can life change?
And what about love?...
What is life—is there a future?

The first touch you receive as a newborn child is the most
important sign of love and affection there is. If that first touch is addressed wrongly,
what
kind of life will you have?
Regarding my book Behind Waves and this
poem “Me,” I thought I’d give you some more insight beyond what I discuss in the book and here previously.
What kind of life will you have?—as the introduction of the poem expresses—is not a question there
to be answered; instead it’s a question to understand.

Is life

Based on gender others make decisions for us, providing us
with limited options to live by. What happens if your gender is perceived wrongly If, once in a while, we let our hearts move
freely to reveal who we are, wouldn’t we all be much happier? A true touch between two happy people whose hearts rule—isn’t
that what love is all about?
Without colors, can there be life?

Occasionally we feel that something is wrong inside us, but
we can’t tell what. Learning the language of our bodies and following our inner feelings:
Isn’t
that what life is about?

Beyond the barrier of worldly things, we find the happiness
we’ve been searching for—it’s when we meet others that the search finally ends. Happiness reveals itself
when we’re true to ourselves; happiness lasts when we share it.
True feelings: that
is life!

You decide what your references are, and be open to new possibilities
and directions. You don’t have to lead, but it’s you and no one else who should choose your leader.
It takes courage to live!

Rarely do we consider what “me” really means—the
many parts that comprise the concept of “me.” A basic question most of us ask ourselves but never really find
an answer to is:
Can life change?

Our dreams are much closer than we think. If we approach
that magic mirror and look right through our own reflection:
Will life change?

Lies have a tendency to close us in and trap us, like a prison.
Facing the truth is the only key to freedom and peace in both body and soul:
From within,
life emerges!

Rarely does it occur to us to search for happiness inside
ourselves. If, instead of possessions, we look for and nurse all those small values in life that are free, and we make them
grow:
How will life be?

Written words can be like rules we acknowledge and yet still
choose not to follow. Even then, that hand that brought the original message will be there for us to grab and follow:
Where can life be found?

The light of hope has other ways of emerging than just from
afar. By showing, revealing our true selves, we carry light with us wherever we go, letting others find their way to us.
Happiness makes life worth living!

As individuals we need to find ourselves; we need to come
home. In relationships we need to reveal ourselves; we need to come out. Inviting people into our hearts will take us home.
Being welcomed by people, we find home everywhere.
Love occurs when we share life!

Life has played some tricks on me over the years, actually
ever since my birth, and I can say that I have been taken to unusual places, exploring my true self to the limit. For me the
place where horizons meet is real…
